These containers are milky see-thru plastic. The lids are green rigid plastic, there are 2 slits at the the top on 2 sides - to allow for air circulation.

There are 2 pieces included in this set. The sizes are 2 Cups and 5 Cups. This Product line is BPA free.

Lock-its Food Storage

Milky see-thru containers. They have rigid see-thru lids with an inner rubber seal and tabs that extend from all four sides to lock down on the base container.

Pros

Nuke it, Freeze it, Clean it

All 4 of these food storage lines from Rubbermaid can be microwaved, stuck in the freezer and cleaned in the dishwasher. 

Tough And Well Designed

Love the fact that work has really been put into designing a better seal without making these containers too bulky. The nested effect sure cuts down on kitchen storage when not in use.  Having lids that stay connected to the container bases make lost lids a thing of the past.

The Produce Savers are great at keeping veggies, herbs and greens, extending their life in the fridge - this will save you money in no-time.

Premier lines are NSF certified. These have been tested and retested to ensure product safety. NSF certified products are held to a higher standard, and can be found in professional kitchens, bakeries and other businesses.

Cons

Will There Be Broken Wings?

I am concerned with the Lock-its product design, the tabs which lock the lid onto the base will be moved back and forth frequently and I am afraid they will eventually break off.

BPA  Blues

I don't know my exact feelings on the Premier line containing BPA, It has definitely raised my awarness of the chemical compound. I want to do further research into the subject.
