Last Minute Food Gifts Contest

News - Foodie Mama Gift Guide

Lots of folks have waited until this week to think about their holiday gifts, and they will appreciate your help.

Food gifts are almost always well received, though homemade food gifts are probably a better choice than the mystery meat sticks from the Quickie Mart by your house. I don't know if those would get the desired reaction.

Whether you baked fresh goodies, made fancy candies, mixed spice rubs or your own special hot cocoa mix, prepared gifts in a jar, or even canned fresh apple butter and jams, your gift recipient will feel like the most pampered person around when she treats herself to your gift.

Use this time to brag a little about your awesome handiwork, and help out your fellow gift giver at the same time. You can post your gift ideas, recipes, and pictures in the comments section below.

But wait! There's more. You, too, can benefit from posting...

It's a contest!
