Has the flu or cold thrown your life out of sync? Are the aches, chills, headaches, congestion and coughing creating a roadblock between you and your to do list? Try this healthy, easy to make chicken noodle soup to help in getting you or your little ones health back on track. Or just enjoy it as a warm treat on a cold day.
  • 3 Chicken Breasts - Boiled and Then Shredded
  • 2 Cans of Swanson Low Sodium Chicken Broth
  • 1 Box of Your Favorite Noodles - (Organic - Whole Wheat Tastes Great)
  • About 1 Cup Chopped Red (or your favorite) Potatoes
  • About 1 Cup Chopped Carrots
  • About 1 Cup Chopped Celery
  • About 1 Onion Chopped
  • Salt, Pepper, Fresh Garlic or Garlic Powder To Taste

 
Throw together in a big pot or crock pot for about 2 hours (don't put the noodles in until the last 15 minutes). Serve with hearty bread or saltine crackers and enjoy!The nutrients will help strengthen your body as it fights the cold, the noodles will give you carbs to give you energy, and the steam will help clear up your congestion.
