Pros of the Global Goodies Line
 I was impressed by a few things upon receiving the sample t-shirts. First of all, they arrived in clever packaging: little Chinese food takeout boxes.
My first thought pulling the shirts out was that these were much higher quality t-shirts than what I typically find at retailers. It had nice banding around the sleeves and collar, and seemed softer and thicker than most t-shirts. They have an image on both the front and back as well.
And then I looked at the front of the shirts, and did that obnoxious, "Awwww!" everyone just loves to hear. What's so nice about the shirts is that they don't just show food items on kids' shirts. They translate them into something cute for the kids with little cartoon characters.
For example, I asked to sample the French food t-shirts because I am a francophile and a French food lover. I received the Escargot and Duck l'Orange shirts. My daughter loved the Escargot version, pointing out the snail was like Gary from Spongebob. The Duck l'Orange shirt had them both quacking like crazy.

Cons of the Global Goodie T-Shirts
The only real complaint I would have is the price. The shirts are definitely worth more than some mediocre discount store t-shirt, of that there is no doubt. But considering how kids outgrow and stain clothes, it's sometimes hard to justify spending $15 to $20 per t-shirt or onesie.
Of course, there is nothing saying you can't load up on the cheap $5 tees somewhere else, and get a couple of these shirts as a special gift or just a special shirt for your child. You're bound to get compliments!

If you're a foodie, there aren't all that many ways to have your little one show off your love of the gourmet. I have to say, these shirts are just one of the most adorable food-related gifts I have seen for kids in a while. These are also some high quality garments.
No, you probably won't want to fill your kids' closets with these, but I think it's worth a splurge to get a couple of foodie t-shirts for the little ones. I mean, we need to raise them to appreciate fine cuisine right from the beginning, don't we?
