It is already Summertime in my little corner of the Earth, and the blistering heat is enough to drive grown men and women to the shelter of ice cream shops. For my little ones, something healthier and cold should do the trick to relieve them from the heat. So my mom and I came up with this special, yummy, and not to mention, healthy salad perfect for the picky tastes of toddlers. Give it a try!
Ingredients:

  • 1 watermelon
  • 1 box of cheese (preferably the non-quickmelt type)
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 1 small can condensed milk

Instructions:

  • Scoop out watermelon and cut-up into small cubes. The seeds should be taken out top prevent choking. Set it aside.
  • Cut the cheese into smaller cubes. Set it aside.
  • Open the cans of milk.
  • Mix the milk and watermelon in a big container. Taste it and adjust to preferences.
  • Add the cheese to the mixture.
  • Put salad into the refrigerator until cooled.
  • Serve.

The salad can be served with ice cubes if not cold enough.
