Food Should Taste Good offers seven varieties of Gluten Free Chips in two two bag sizes - six ounce grocery bags or the one ounce on-the-go mini bags. These are great to store in the backpack for school as well.
I recently ordered a case of chips from Food Should Taste Good for my teenage son to snack on and for my younger son to bring to his classmates, teacher, and aides for Valentine's Day. The class was familiar with these snacks since I had received a case back in December and shared the contents at that time too.
I was delighted to see my youngest son devour a bag of sweet potato chips while my teen was snacking on Multigrain chips. The varieties are:
-
Chocolate
-
Olive
-
Jalapeno
-
Buffalo
-
Sweet Potato
-
Multigrain

The Works!
I like the option of customizing my case when ordering. I chose to order the one ounce bags that contain twenty-four bags. We got ten in the sweet potato flavor, four chocolate, four wholegrain and a few of the remaining to round out the case.
For a case of the six ounce bags there would be twelve bags. I ordered on a Saturday with the box arriving by Friday. The website even recommends what will go with each chip. These recommendations range from Hummus, Artichoke Spinach Dip, Apple Butter, Fresh Fruit Salsa and Corn & Black Bean Salsa.
Each variety of Food Should Taste Good chips touts the following:
I like that my kids are eating different types of chips that are good for them, low in sugar and sodium. Each one ounce bag is one serving. The average caloric content for these chips is 140 calories. Some of the ingredients found in the chip varieties includes:
sea salt, soy flour, stone ground corn, sesame seeds, cane juice, corn bran, brown rice flour, flax seeds, safflower oil and quinoa.
Their website has an ongoing recipe contest and a listing of stores you can find Food Should Taste Good chips with a zipcode directory. My son likes the crunch and taste of the chips, plus they don't have many crumbs to them.
The chips are a good addition to a lunchtime sandwich or good on their own for an after school snack. They are lilke tortilla chips and similar to a cracker wth fun varities your teen will not find in any other chip that promotes good health.
I recommend the chips for Valentine's Day, Easter and Halloween. They are good for lunch in a backpac and school parties for special ed classes where kids might be following a special gluten free diet.
