The teenage years are filled with many growing changes to their bodies.  A major difference in this transition into adulthood is an increased appetite.  Feeding Teens will help guide you along this journey.

Welcome to Feeding Teens.  My name is Bonnie Sayers, and I am a single parent to two boys, ages 12 and 13.  My youngest is in special education while my oldest is homeschooled.  I am also a home health care worker.

Tweens, teens and adolescents range in age from twelve to seventeen, which is the topic of this section at Foodie Mama.  Articles will cover counting calories, sample meal plans, frequency of eating, snacking habits, school lunch choices, milk options, tips on eating healthy, packing school lunches and much more relating to teenagers and food.

I welcome comments and suggestions on topics.  There will also be recommendations via product and book reviews and holiday celebrations.  I look forward to our journey in Feeding Teens together.

Bonnie is a freelance writer/editor that has many Autism Family Adventures and writes about Autism Spectrum Disorders.
