There is almost nothing better than snuggling up on the couch with a buddy and watching movies and eating Soft Carmel PopCorn. Making Soft Carmel PopCorn is very easy and economical if you have a family of 4-6 or more.
Soft Carmel PopCorn
- 3 bags microwave popcorn or batches of air popped
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Corn Syrup
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Pop three bags of popcorn and separate out unpopped kernels place in large bowl and set aside. Melt butter then stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk. Cook in microwave in covered glass bowl for 8 minutes without stirring. Remover from microwave and beat in the vanilla. Pour mixture over popcorn. Stir till popcorn is coated. Serve while warm and soft. This is sooo delicious!!!
Note:
Popping a combination of two butter popcorn and a kettle corn are great. Try different combos and see what works best for you.
