I had never tried a recipe for deviled eggs until I was an adult. My Mother in law introduced them to me at my baby shower for my first daughter. From that moment on I was hooked. I like the ease of the recipe, and ours kids really like them too.
This deviled eggs recipe is an appetizer we often make for family events and BBQs. The best part is making them ahead of time and forgetting about them until they are needed. Then simply toss them on a platter and serve. Ingredients: - 1 Dozen hard boiled eggs, cooled and peeled
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup finely chopped green onion
- salt and pepper
- paprika to sprinkle
Cut eggs in half length wise and carefully remove the yolks. Place all yolks in bowl and mash with the mayo and green onion. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Place the mixture back into the whites of the eggs and sprinkle tops lightly with the paprika. Refrigerate immediately.
